Stephen, Happy Thanksgiving. The gathering together of people whether at a funeral or a feast is still a reason for joy even in sadness.
Rose, Your comment had shown up when I posted before. That is in Salmon Creek at Kathy Davis' funeral. The whole community was there--1982 or 83 I think. I believe they were all singing "Amazing Grace." My husband is somewhere in there a beautiful young man I fell in love with.

It's beautiful. Though a funeral is a sad occasion, the photo reminds me of happier, more innocent times.
