Enviro revise local history so they look good

Look at this history revisionist opinion of the Town Dandy once again promoting environmentalist lies in place of real facts.

From this week's Northcoast Journal:

"This is the Maxxam 'end game' that the smart enviros have envisioned for some time--divvying up and suburbanizing Humboldt County's timberlands, all but taking them out of production. And lot's of people in and around Scotia will tell you those smart enviros sure as hell knew what they were talking about."

Too bad you don't know what you're talking about, Hank. You weren't there, I was--all the way through the Timber War between PL and enviros and just where are the enviro protests against subdivisions? They aren't there, Hank, because all along enviros were attacking Palco's forest practices, not subdivision planning and development.

Enviros couldn't attack subdivision development because they needed the homesteader's money and could not afford to piss off their huge donation source in homestead subdivision developments. So enviros remained quiet about subdivisions and one environmental activist protested subdivisions all along--guess who.

So, Mr. Town Dandy, why don't you retract what you wrote as revisionist history and let readers new to the discussion get some truth instead of politically biased Progressive propaganda.

And Eric, where are the enviro voices here about this issue of Palco subdivision? You see any enviro protest posted here on your blog?

Enviros got their pr value from protesting Palco, not from actually changing Palco's way of business, so now that the pr cash cow is dying, they don't care. It's on to the next cash cow--Arkley or Evergreen Pulp or any corporate target--anything but pay attention to the problems caused by "us", "our side"..
